Top 11 Games for the Amstrad CPC in 2017
2017 was yet again another fine year for homebrew and indie releases for the humble CPC, again boosted by CPCretroDev's yearly competition, but many more games made their way onto the Amstrad from some very talented programmers. Shining, Keith Sear, Naverro, McKlain, 4mhz and more were very busy indeed. The quality of the games has rose to amazing standards, so choosing a Top 11 was tricky to say the least.

Pentomino - Amstrad CPC puzzler with a great soundtrack gets an Easter release
I hope you're all having a fantastic Easter so far, as it's now about to get so much better especially if you have an Amstrad, as Shining has announced the release of Pentomino for the Amstrad CPC, Amstrad Plus and also on the GX4000. Looking like a cross between Tetris and Loopz, this game was developed by HAL6128 (GFX) and Shining (code) and is a puzzle-game where you have to solve 464 different puzzles, split into multiple parts!
Pentomino - Amstrad puzzler coming this Easter sounds awesome!
A bit of a late hour this one, but one we couldn't miss, as Shining has just moments ago teased a brand new Amstrad game called ' Pentomino ', which is coming to an Amstrad CPC, Plus and GX4000 by the end of this week. This game took us completely by surprise as we didn't even know it was being developed, but from the look of it, it looks like a cross between Tetris and Loopz and will feature very high quality music!
