Chuckie Egg - A classic eggy game gets a PC Remake by Langford Productions.
It's incredible to think that Chuckie Egg was a game released years ago in 1983 as a game that not only appeared on the BBC Micro, but a whole string of other systems such as the Amstrad CPC, Amiga, C64 and even the ZX Spectrum. Well fast forward to today and Langford Productions who was behind the wicked retro inspired Shooter Project ZX, and the remakes of classic games such as Jumping Jack, The Hunch or even Psst, has announced the release of a modernised version of Chuckie Egg as a special gift to you all before Christmas.
Project ZX2 - The sequel to Richard Langford's ZX Spectrum flavoured game is announced!
Great news everyone as Richard Langford of Langford Productions has just announced his latest game that's in development ' Project ZX2 ' which is a sequel to the previous game ' Project ZX '. Now if you remember the previous game that was released for the PC, you'll be pleased to know that the second game is very similar to the first as sure enough you'll be blasting your way through many different screens all inspired by classic ZX Spectrum games!

Great news for a Thursday as Richard Langford of Langford Productions has today released his ZX Spectrum styled Shoot em up ' Project ZX ', which is available for the PC. Developed by the same guy behind the Cookie, Pssst, Highway Encounter, The Hunch and even Frank N Stein remakes, Project ZX is a rather unique Shoot em up and a homage to the best games on the ZX Spectrum and puts you in a battle against classic ZX Spectrum sprites after they were unleashed upon the world by the enraged Clive Sinclair.

Over this past week or so, we've been featuring many of Langford Productions latest remakes, which included such games as Pyramid, Jumping Jack, Automania and The Hunch (link). Each one enjoyable to play, while remaining as close as possible to the original 8bit design but with more modernised graphics. Today however after teasing us these past few days, the developer with music by Ricardo Vieira, has now moved onto the next remake in a double PC special with Cookie and Pssst. Both of these appeared on the ZX Spectrum, from the legendary company that is ' Ultimate Play the Game '
