The legendary 1995 Sharp X68000 vertical shoot 'em up Cho Ren Sha 68k has un-officially made its way to the Commodore Amiga, thanks to a brilliant new port by developer apolkosnik, with the help of AI. This ambitious release brings Famibe No Yosshin’s iconic shooter to life by running the original game code directly on Amiga systems equipped with a 68020 CPU or higher. The software cleverly emulates the X68000's custom hardware on the fly, delivering vibrant visuals through either standard AGA chipsets or RTG graphics cards.

A Sunday head's up for you all, as Saberman has just informed us through Facebook, that a new game has been released for the Commodore Amiga as port of the X68000 shoot 'em up of 'Game.X' by hitchhikr SoftWorks. A game in which you need to destroy as many waves as possible to get the best of hiscores. To coincide with this news, Saberman has also done a video showing the game in action.
Coppersky Musicdisc - A new music disk for the Amiga by Coppersky
Something fresh this morning thanks to a heads up by our friendly remixer Aaron is Coppersky's Amiga music disk ' Coppersky Musicdisc ' which was released late yesterday. Unlike the usual scene demo tunes this one has many tracks converted over from some of the other popular systems of their time such as the MSX and the X68000. Tunes such as Bosconian - Little Wave from the X68000 converted by Martin Eriksson, Salamander from the MSX by Lo8its, and Andoroginus converted over from the MSX by Toni Galvez. If the MSX is not to your fancy there is also 8 colour memories by Fernando Cabrera and Amigastore Intro composed by again, Fernando Cabrera. It's not the biggest amount of tunes we've seen but it does give you a reason to turn the old girl back on again!
