RetroArch 1.7.6 – PlayStation2 port – now available!


Great news today for all you RetroArch users, as we've been contacted by Gaming Legends, that RetroArch 1.7.6 has been released! RetroArch is a frontend for emulators, game engines and media players and enables you to play classic games on a wide range of systems such as the NES and SNES mini with features such as shaders, netplay, rewinding, next-frame response times, and more!

Update News : Just recently the PCSX2 Team released the final build of PCSX2 v1.2.0, which is a top quality Playstation 2 Emulator for your PC. The final build contained some much needed features and fixes for all to enjoy. Well today it's had an even further improvement, anisotropic texture filtering! Grab the latest SVN v5878 beta build today and enjoy anisotropic texture filtering (1x-16x) which was added to the hardware settings of GSdx. This also enhances the visual quality of textures in games that are at oblique viewing angles.

Release News : For those that follow this Emulator, the PCSX2 Team have announced the release of PCSX2 v1.2.0. It's been nearly a year and a half since the previous major release and has gone through a number of svn builds since then, requiring plenty more fixes and improvements. But today we can enjoy this final build in all it's glory! According to the developers, one big change in this release is the integration of the wide screen patches made by the community for the community, numbering nearly 1200 games patched to support proper 16:9 aspect ratio. So if you want a damn good Emulator and have a number of Playstation 2 games handy, then read on for the changelog!
