The 90's Arcade Racer - Daytona USA fans time to go crazy!

Turn your engines on and rev up, as the ultimate style 90's racing arcade game could be appearing on your PC, Mac & Linux systems via kickstarter. This is Arcade Racer, a racing game to recreate the feeling of an intense but beautiful looking racer. Maintaining the colorful, vibrant look and sense of speed but with modern visuals and car handling models.

Apparently there are three different car classes, SupercarStock and Formula. With each having different dynamics and handling, while giving the Formula 1 car, that high speed racing rush every fan wants! But what about the tracks? The game will feature three tracks playable both in normal or reverse. The tracks will be Short/Beginner, Medium/Amateur and Long/Professional. The graphics will be intense as if the Digital Vibrance settings are on full, but who cares, it needs to look like this, it's an arcade racer after all :)

The game will have all the flavour of the Arcades, by selecting a car, a track and race both against the clock and AI trying to set the best score. There will also be a championship mode for each car class if the game reaches it's first stretch goal.

But another thing that might impress you even more, this game is being developed by the same guy who did the Sonic Fan Remix. Yes, that's right, the high quality Sonic game that so many couldn't put down. Just check out the video below if you never played it.

You just know this developer has the talent to deliver and i'm damn sure it's going to be a good game, a game to take us back to the Arcade Racing days. Currently at £527 pledged of a £10,000 goal, I highly recommend pledging this one, just as I'm going to do this week.
