Even more C64 games to get through this weekend as we were recently told by Saberman that excess has released a very early preview of Darkerror's upcoming sequel Moonshadow 2 Septerios Revenge, which is a tribute to Paolo Galimberti's Moonshadow released way back in 1990. This game is an action platformer and features multiple themed rooms, item collection and enemies to fight (Although enemies are lacking in this preview).
At this current stage it's hard to see how this game will develop considering what can be seen in the video above compared to the prequel is of striking similarity. As one person noted on the CSDb site, so far it does look more like a graphical hack of MoonShadow, as not just the music and the graphics are very similar, but even the way the UI is designed looks the same. Although I did notice the heart has changed as well as a few changed sprites.
