Mentioned a little while ago on Facebook as an upcoming game that was sure to get many back onto their C64's for some two player fun, we are pleased to announce that within 4 hours of posting this article, Badgerpunch Games will have released their Cowboy themed C64 game of 'Showdown'. What is this game you might ask? A 1 or 2-player action shooter for the Commodore 64, which is inspired by a host of older titles with the same theme, going all the way back to Gun Fight from 1975
As noted by the description : Available for all C64 based systems, with an upcoming cassette by Bitmap Soft in the near future. You play a cowboy out to win a fierce gun duel. The first one to outwit and knock down the opponent 5 times is the winner of the duel. The game features a top notch soundtrack, quick draw gun shooting action, lovely western detail and all of this for the minimum price of $1!
