Well thanks to a heads up from the developer himself, we have been told that not only is the previously announced Mega65 version of the game available for pre-order as a seriously cool Collector's Edition through poly.play, but as of now via itch io, the game has also been released digitally for all you Mega65 owners out there.

As the developer says "GET READY for Showdown on the Mega65! We are working on a port of our 1-2 player action shooter for the Mega65. The big fancy GET READY uses Mega65 RRB technique for massive movable sprites".

It felt like it was only just recently we mentioned Badger Punch Games very enjoyable title of their Cowboy themed C64 game of 'Showdown'; A 1 or 2-player action shooter for the Commodore 64, which is inspired by a host of older titles with the same theme, going all the way back to Gun Fight from 1975. Well fast forward to this month and thanks to a heads up from both Per Ola and Saberman, we've been told the same creators have now made available the free version of 'Snowdown' ; a Xmas version of their previously released game Showdown.
