Maximus Action Carnage - Shooter Arcade

Word of the wise avoid Bluewater near Christmas, if you don't like shopping with a lot of people about, I was happy enough to be at home writing up new game news! Well here I am back home and today it's a short article about Maximus Action Carnage.

Based in the early 1940's the Great Imperial State of Japan has expanded trough the Pacific and invaded and conquered South-East Asia. Every known ally has surrendered or withdrawn to the enemy forces, all but one man and his name is Maximus Malone.

This game reminds me very much of Ikari Warriors on the Amiga with it's top scrolling arcade enemy shooting frenzy game play. There are dozens of enemies, artillery and tanks. By destroying the japanese outposts you finally defeat the invading enemy forces.
