Finally a kickstarter game of interest on this bleak Monday, it's Death Inc from the developers Ambient Studios, made up from Media Molecule, Lionhead and Criterion. Death Inc is an unusual strategy game. It's a unique mix of real-time strategy, god game and business sim, with the flavour of old time bullfrog classics.
You play as Grim T. Livingstone, freelance Reaper, through the 1660's of old England. You're no Mr nice guy in this land of old, as you spread fear, loathing and the deadly bubonic plague. What's more, at your disposal, is the unique special abilities under your control, like plague rats and exploding livestock.
But between all that killing and reaper work, you have a business empire to build. How many deaths and victims will be your total, before you become the greatest Reaper the world has ever known. But be warned, your prey will not give up without a fight, they will fight back!
Currently the kickstarter is at £10,241 pledged of a £300,000 goal but with 30days left, here's hoping the goal is a success. The game is very unique and I believe it will appeal to many in the family!
