Game Info Quote : The Midnight Grindshow is a role-playing action/adventure, and puzzle game. It focuses on your exploration of a mysterious traveling sideshow that begins at midnight, and disappears at dawn. The Grindshow itself consists of dark and twisted tents, each an axis to secret dimensions ruled over by powerful, corrupt sideshow performers but occasionally you run into some surprisingly humane characters that want to help you along your journey. In each episode you learn their back-stories by traversing their various stylized worlds; from an ancient Assyrian temple, to 1920s New York, to the dry African-esque plains of a land called Drought, and a finally, a funhouse where all your darkest fears come to light. By defeating these characters, using wit or hand-to-hand combat, you discover a piece of the overall puzzle; the motivations of the Grindshow, all while getting closer to discovering your checkered past within it. No, you were not part of any kind of prostitution ring or drug scandal - the truth is much more interesting than that!
