The Wild Wild Pixel - An expansive point and click adventure gets a Kickstarter

I do love my pixelated games and sure enough the developers Fabraz are happy to provide with their latest point and click adventure title, The Wild Wild Pixel. You play as Jacques who is the unwilling resident of the valley, trapped between the great cliff walls and it's down to you escape this awful place! Yet every previous attempt was met with failure. Can you succeed and why don't the other residents share your thirst for an escapist adventure?

So that's the story out of the way, what about the game? Well as I know you love adventure games, who doesn't? The Wild Wild Pixel looks to be a fun and engrossing adventure with charm and humour in the bucket loads and the developers have also mentioned immersion as being an important factor in the game. As the developer states : We’re all about immersion and having your actions matter in the long run, no matter how small. You see a stray dog? Find him an owner. A girl’s being bullied? Save her from her bullies. You did both? The girl ends up playing with the dog outside of town, happy and content.

You'll also be pleased to know that the developers have promised an exciting skit (skill?) system, companion characters, side quests, mini games and much more! This is looking to be a top quality pixelated adventure with a barrel of fun thrown in for good measure. As such, I for one am looking forward to playing it and putting myself through the developers immersive world and charm filled adventure.

Make sure to pledge and reach the $45,000 Kickstarter goal!
