When the developers OhNooStudio sent us word about a brand new Indiegogo campaign for their dark Adventure title, Tormentum, I did not expect a game of this magnitude to appear in front of my very eyes. As someone who really enjoys dark Adventure titles, this one fits that genre perfectly. The game is set in a dark world veering between dreams and nightmares and as the player, you are tasked to recover the truth about yourself and who you are. And it's through this story you'll be visiting new lands, solving puzzles and meeting new characters, each with their own personalities. Also according to the developers the dreamlike atmosphere featured in the game was inspired by the works of a Polish painter, Zdzislaw Beksinski, and a recently deceased Swiss painter, H.R.Giger!
But beyond the story this game is full to the brim of incredible art work, probably the most amazing looking details I've yet seen on Indiegogo for an Adventure game. Considering this game is only being developed by a three man team it will be interesting to see where they go from here, if this game is a success.
So now it comes down to you, the campaign needs to reach a pledge goal of $9,000 and for that you can play this fine game on PC, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices. Also make sure to give them a thumbs up on their Steam Greenlight page!
