We have had a number of popular remake mentions on our site such a Shadow of the Beast legacy, Deuteros and FreeCiv, so what better way to spend a Friday night than playing OoT 2D; a HQ 2D remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Developed as a fan project, this lovely remake has been remade in the style of A Link to the Past and although in an early stage, the developers are hoping to turn it into a fully fledged game.
So far this project is looking to be pretty impressive, especially as they aim to replicate the entire game, from the cutscenes, to the characters and dungeons. What's more, the SNES style graphics and music look to fit the original inspiration perfectly, so those with concerns can look forward to a future final release.
The early in development version is available to download and play from the main Website.
