Way back in 2002 Westwood Studios released Command & Conquer Renegade; the only Command and Conquer game ever to use a first person view. The story took place during the final days of the First Tiberium War as the player assumed the role of GDI commando Captain Nick "Havoc" Parker, who is assigned to rescue these experts. Today the developers Totem Arts released the Open Beta 4 for Command & Conquer Renegade X, which is a free remake of that original classic.
Through Renegade X, players fight for two unique teams, manage their own economies, choose from over 30 weapons, 15 vehicles, and call in nuclear strikes, Ion Cannons, and airstrikes, and much more.
