Mushroom Kingdom Dizzy - A new DizzyAGE Easter Competition entry!

Egotrip is back with another Dizzy title and this time it's a Dizzy and Mario mash up for the upcoming DizzyAGE Easter competition, featuring some of those well known Dizzy characters and Mario enemies! Mushroom Kingdom Dizzy is developed in that 8-bit and 16-bit style, and once again you play as Dizzy but this time Dizzy has blacked out after his meeting with Zaks and has woken up alone in the Yolkfolk village.

Yet of all the Dizzy games I have played, it's nice to see a developer doing something different with Dizzy other than just a change of story and item placement. You'll be playing in both the Dizzy original graphics and also a Mario landscape featuring nasty beasties and characters from the original SNES title. It's also a more action orianted dizzy as far more enemies and traps will need to be jumped over. What is seriously lacking in Mushrom Kingdom Dizzy is the game having no in game music, so it feels empty from the get go. Still, as it's free and it's Dizzy I won't complain too much.

  1. Thanks for the review. However, there should be music. It works for me, and the beta testers so I suspect its something your end.

Hmm strange, I'll try it on the PC beast later! It was completely silent in game on Windows 7
