While many C64 owners will be looking forward to playing the still in development games of HYPERION and Sam's Journey, there's another C64 title called 'Knight 'n' Grail 3' developed by Micks256 which may just grab your interest with the latest trailer. The original game titled Knight n Grail was on sale from Psytronik and was regarded by many as one of the best action adventure games for a long time on the C64. It featured fantastic game play, a large map with excellent visuals and music throughout, so this unofficial work in progress title certainly has a lot to look up to.
According to the developer from Apr 19th this work in progress development is mapped and thought to be over 60% complete with over 235 rooms and a possibility of 400 to go. Each room will be divided into 11 worlds, with a max of perhaps 16 when it's ready. The story is also going to be different as it relates to the wizard, who helped the nightingale in the first game to become a knight and it turns out the grail didn't give him the world domination and absolute power he was after.
Thus far we don't have a release date but what we can say is the development is coming along nicely with new enemies plus state-loading and saving in place.
