Ninja Savior - 2nd MSXdev’15 entry is ready for your enjoyment!

After our previous announcement of Wing Warriors for the MSXdev'15 competition, the second entry has now been finished and ready for both MSX owners and BlueMSX users to download and play. Unlike that previous game however, ' Ninja Savior ' by Relevo Videogames, is an action puzzle game where you play as a Ninja to defeat an evil force such as ghosts and monsters, to save the village of Usuki from destruction.

Although I don't have an MSX and unlikely to get one any time soon, I did have the chance to play this game through the emulator BlueMSX, and to my surprise this is a very enjoyable game. It's pretty simple to play and understand, in that all you have to do is jump your ninja from one side of the wall to another, avoiding enemies or sliding into the flames, while picking up spells to damage the boss above.

With every level, the boss runs and hides until he ends up defeated. As and when all the levels are complete, the boss and enemies change to even harder ones, but the gameplay remains the same. As such, this a very good game indeed and well worth downloading from the link below.
