More Christmas cheer directly out from underneath the retro Christmas tree, is Triad's release of ' Squirm 2 Preview ' for the C64! A rather early build with a long way to go yet in development, you must collect all the eggs dropped by what looks like a red comb, before the time runs out to complete the level. Just watch out for the green creature, as it eats up all the eggs and must be avoided or your life force will slowly drain.
What makes this an early dev game is the fact that nothing happens when your life force runs out, plus there is no sound and the level just resets when you've collected all the eggs. The other major is, apart from just one player, if you get stuck behind dead ends, then there is nothing you can do but wait to the timer runs out to get the level to reset.
Still though, I think once the game is finished I think it's going to be very enjoyable and well worth waiting for when it hopefully comes out in 2016.
