Reset 4kb Coding Competition Causes Avalanche of Mini Games to Hit C64

Back in May Reset Magazine announced their "Crap Game Compo 2016": The only constraints would be the devs' imaginations, and of course the tiny 4kb file size. Now the competition has closed, we can play all the games which made it on time, and try to pick our favorites.  Amongst the best is "Goblin", by Pond Software. Simple platforming action, where you must collect all the items, avoid the gribbly-esque baddies and, and escape to the exit to reach the next level.. yes they squeezed a beautiful looking multi level game complete with animations and sound into 4kb!

"Rise and Shine Professor Miggles", is another great looking game, and along with "Bonky Kong" (think Donkey Kong in reverse), "Lumberjack" and "Dog" all have addictive beat the high score replayability. "Dog" is particularly entertaining; you must leave as many presents as you can on your owner's lawn before he catches you.

Other contenders include the excellent "Super Ski", "Antarctica", "Watschinator" and "Valentine's Day Shopping Simulator". All of the entries deserve enormous credit for managing to squeeze their games into 4kb. And great fun can be had playing through the entries, and trying to guess the winners.
