I know for a fact there are gamers around the world who enjoyed playing the Westwood Studios epic RTS game Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun, which was released way back in 1999. Well you'll be pleased to know ' Twisted Insurrection '; a standalone RTS total conversion based on the Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun engine that has a new alternate in-depth storyline, has just been upgraded to version 0.6 with a ton of fixes and improvements. To coincide with this news update, the team behind this standalone release have made available a new trailer.
As we said before this standalone features a complete overhaul and replacing of the original game's graphics, gameplay and having it's own all new original soundtrack. Furthermore you'll be able to take control of a new arsenal of units, infantry, aircraft and naval forces as both the Brotherhood of NOD and the GDI in both single player and multiplayer battles in over 50 brand new campaigns and missions. So if you haven't downloaded the latest standalone release you are seriously missing out!
