Sheep it Up - A new game for a real Gameboy? Count me in!
Don't get me wrong I do love a new game for a retro system such as the NES, but when it comes to my chunky handheld the Gameboy, it's really feeling a little left out. Sure we've had Gameboy inspired games announced, but actual fresh cartridges is something of a rarity, at least until now! Welcome to 'Sheep it Up' by Catskull Games, a new arcade game for the Gameboy model, from the first one to the GBA SP, including the Super Game Boy.
Catskull Games has told us this is an Arcade title, where a sheep has to keep climbing up by hanging himself to flying Velcro straps for an ever high score. The fun in the game however is to keep going as if you miss, your poor little sheepy will fall to his probable death! It certainly sounds like a great game for a Gameboy, and this made even more special as the creators have wanted to make this game without sacrificing any vintage Gameboy titles. They've manufactured everything specifically for this game, which includes the pcb, the rom, the shell, the protective case and even the sticker!
