One of my all time favourite Amstrad games ' Oh Mummy! ' has surfaced again, but this time not as the game you remember all those years ago, but as a game that has been thrust into a modern age and has drunk way too much caffeine. Welcome to ' Tomb Explorer ' developed by John Dimi; an arcade top-down action game that is inspired by that classic with tombs and foot prints intact but also with added features such as enemies, traps, treasures, items, keyblocks, hammers to break walls and lots of other awesome bits to enjoy.
Oh Mummy in my opinion was and still is one of the best games on the Amstrad from 1984 and it was created by Gem Software and published by none other than Amsoft, a well known publisher for the Amstrad computer. It had fun gameplay revealing lost Egyptian treasures, deadly mummies that needed to be avoided, and a soundtrack that has lasted the ages! This game looks even more fun as an inspiration, with 128 levels in adventure mode, arcade mode of infinite lives and increasing difficulty, as well as tight controls, a great soundtrack and more!
