Baby Pac-Man - Bally Midway's Arcade game is coming to the Atari 7800

Even more retro gaming news to get through today and the first one is a well known Arcade game called ' Baby Pac-Man ', which is still at a work in progress stage and is coming to the Atari 7800 by the developer Bob Decrescenzo. This game was first released by Bally Midway way back in 1982 and is based on a baby like version of Pac-Man that also has to eat dots in a maze style gaming screen while also avoiding the ghosts. The similarities end there however, as the game also contains a pinball mode in which the player must hit a target with a metal ball for extra bonuses, when the player fails to keep the ball in play it's back to the Baby Pac-Man mode!

According to our good friends Retro Video Gamer this work in progress title is one that has never been ported to a home system because it is both a video game and a pinball game in one. In terms of the actual port however the playfield will be rendered in 160A mode, so it will be switching between 320B mode for the video portion, and 160A for the pinball.
