Eye of the Beholder - A Dungeon Crawling classic as a port on the C64 gets new footage!

We've been banging on about Dungeon Crawlers since the dawn of time, well not really but since Indie Retro News was created. So you can see why of all the games we've mentioned, Eye of the Beholder as a port on the C64 has got all of my attention. Coded by Andreas Larsson, this incredible dungeon crawler which was released way back in the 90's on multiple systems including the Amiga, is coming to the C64 with Easy Flash as the target HW and is also supported on emulators. To coincide with this news, the creator has teamed up with Naveed 'Algorithm' Khugiani who has helped to add sounds using his refined encoders

This port so far in development by a team of people such as Micke Backlund/Ilkka Sjöstedt, Oliver Lindau, Lars Verhoff and Linus is looking mind blowingly awesome, as from the look of it, it could be one of the most amazing ports ever to grace the C64. But just be aware there is still a long way to go as even though all the assets, levels, scripts are included with 21000 lines of assembly so far, there is still development regarding Monster AI, intro, exit, character generation, spells, npc-encounters, etc

(1351-mouse control but will support joy and good keyboard-only controls)
