Lacim's Legacy - In development RPG for Atari Lynx looks sublime

Welcome to our very first Atari Lynx news submission, a brand new game announced by Martin Wendt of PriorArt, that is sure to excite many who had this hand held released way back in the late 80's to early 90's. This game known as ' Lacim's Legacy ' is a work in progress isometric RPG by Dan 'Zooperdan' Thoresen and Martin Wendt, where quality excels and gameplay is in abundance.

In development and usable via Bernd's Flashcard when it's available, Lacim's Legacy is an upcoming charming isometric RPG whereby you must battle enemies, traverse multiple themed areas, and pick up mighty loot to further help your cause. For those of you wondering how far development has come since it's earlier tease. Martin has told us from the eJagfest 2018 demo, it now features up to 8 independent animated objects such as projectiles and NPC's, a fully functioning inventory system, objects based on type, quality and modifiers can be picked up from chests and barrels, the audio engine plays streamed SFX aiming for a 3-channel chiptune, and finally as heard via the video above it's just a placeholder tune.

So look out for this one as if it turns out to be hugely popular game, expect further games of this type to appear on the Atari Lynx in the near future!
