Masquerade - A fully working C64 release fixed from 1984

If you like text based adventure games, as in games that require the user to enter commands such as NORTH, GO EAST or PICK UP ITEM, then it might be worth your time playing the C64 game Masquerade; which is a game from 1984 published by American Eagle Software. Now you might be wondering why we are mentioning this game, that's because according to Fairlight this game has never been presented in a fully working state before and now it has!

As noted by Bacchus via the CSDb database. This game has never been presented in a fully working form before. Either containing files that were corrupt or with corrupt files replaced by a copy of one of the other files (making the adventure very confusing). They have identified all but one original files, and the last one they salvaged four out of five blocks, with a section from another file  implemented instead of the broken one, whereafter VDK repainted it watching a version from another platform. Finally they used Bacchus' new tool to pack back to the originally compressed format, with an also added fixed bug related to save to make this a fully working version of Masquerade.
