Warhawk - Rusty Pixels is overhauling an 80's blaster for the ZX Spectrum Next (pre-orders ready!)

Way back in 1986 Firebird Software released the scrolling shoot em up game ' Warhawk ' for the Atari 8-bit, Atari ST, Amstrad and the C64. The gameplay involved lots of top down scrolling action as the player had to deal with lots of obstacles before the ultimate wave of enemy ships attacked the player at the end of each level. So if you remember this game you'll be pleased to know Rusty Pixels and Flashbang Studio have announced a release date and pre-orders for their upcoming enhanced overhaul for the ZX Spectrum Next.

As noted by the description :  Warhawk for the ZX Spectrum Next features advanced video modes and one of the smoothest framerates of any games out there. Not just that, but the game also features  non-stop Shoot’em’Up action across 20 levels including huge motherships, bases, endless enemies and fully configurable controls. So if you are interested visit the link below to get the physical copy Warhawk for your ZX Spectrum Next collection in SD format which is priced at £17.99.
