Behemoth Preview - A Version 2 shooter of an Armalyte C64 clone

Another preview has graced our C64 scenes, as Saberman has sent us the heads up that Excess has made available a version 2 preview of the unreleased game 'Behemoth'; a game that was also shown as a preview by Onslaught way back in 2015 and originally developed by Carleton Handley in 1989. This game of which we have featured before, is classed as an Armalyte clone that was originally meant for the budget label, however the game was never finished because the crew went over to the Amiga.

When we first mentioned the game we were hopeful with the team behind Onslaught that they could finish up the levels, add an awesome in game soundtrack and add in further blistering shooter action from the original version coded by Carleton Handley. But sadly that was never meant to be, and fast forward to now, and we can play yet another version which has been released by Excess, which according to some doesn't contain much more over the previous release.

EDIT : Article has been changed to give credit where credit is due, and that is to the coder of the game Carleton Handley, so please support the coder as much as possible!
