We have just been told a new demo has been released for the eagerly awaited Scorpion Engine developed Commodore Amiga game called 'Creeping Me Out : Hex Night by Mixelslab. A high quality game that's mixes it up with a bit of Castlevania, and hints of Addams Family. To coincide with this demo update, Saberman has also done a video showing the game in action.
While Creeping Me Out Hex Night has been mentioned many times on IRN. Here's the latest about this new demo from Mixelslab. "Off the back of Amiga 40 Germany (which was amazing!), and just in time for Halloween - here's another demo of Creeping Me Out! It's a shorter demo than the first one but still has a good few levels - much more challenging ones this time though! Can Francis navigate the Swamps? Many obstacles await him, from the ghosts of fallen travelers to angry frog-men, and molluscs, and more assorted frog-related problems.."
- The demo should run on similar specs to before, 020 - 2Chip 1fast recommended. HDD/mass storage required. I'm always interested if you've managed to get it running on perculiar setups though!

Thanks Jimmy! I hope it doesn't disappoint when it's finally ready. :)
DeleteLooks very amiga-ish...good job!
ReplyDeleteThanks IRN! :D One tiny correction, it isn't AGA.. It runs on ECS machines too! Just.. 2MB Chip is necessary, so AGA is definitely the most common config for that, but it's not a necessity.
ReplyDeleteThere is an AGA version on the backburner but I'm leading with the ECS version rather than juggling them both!
Perfect! - Fixed :)
