Ladies and Gentlemen the late 80's and early 90's adventure graphical style is calling out to us once again. As a trilogy of games has just appeared in our news feeds that looks very much like the classic Kings Quest and Quest for Glory games right out of the DOS era. Welcome to ' The Telwynium: Book One, Book Two and Book Three ' by Powerhoof; a Sierra style series in which you are fleeing the Shadowfell with your childhood friends Tani and Witt, the irritable Uplander Otarr Stronghorn, and a colossal golem of mud and stone, summoned by the Aldor as the Shadowfell attacked (Book One).
Not only are these trilogy of games set with an early 90s Sierra SCI0 style of graphics and a fancy retro interface, but from those who have played the first game in the series, have given very positive feedback such as "The visual style is beautiful and the story was also great (really captures the vibe of the beginning of something like LOTR or the Wheel of Time series) and "this was absolutely fantastic. great story well told - such a perfect short experience for people who loved the old adventure games". So yes if you loved playing games like this back in the day, then give The Telwynium a go!

I hope you don't mind comments on older posts (it's on page 2, okay), but I wanted to thank you for bringing these games to my attention. The story is awesome, there's so much personality, a pleasant time overall, even tho it's not a lighthearted game. Can't wait for the next part, which will come later this year, I hope.
