Ahh Centipede what a game that was! A game that was not only released as a vertical fixed shooter by Atari in 1980, but it also featured as a rather cheesy but nostalgic Pixel movie. Well here's a nod to a game in which you originally had to protect your garden against not just spiders and scorpions, it's 'Slither'. A Centipede-style game that features alien enemies, and your own powerful space ship to blow them away. To coincide with this news, here's the latest info and footage of the game below.
And here's the details. "Slither is a Centipede-style game created with left over assets from another game I wrote. The Centipede moves one character at a time (not smoothly). It was intended for use as a bonus level page. The game features music by Richard Bayliss and sprite art by Hend". And that's all there is to say about the game, so head on over to the link (HERE) to check it out.
