Super combat 3 - An Amiga multiplayer game was lost and now recovered thanks to emulation.

A long-lost piece of Commodore Amiga history has officially resurfaced. Super Combat 3, an intense two-player action title developed in 1995 by the coder known as Hambo3, has been recovered from digital oblivion and made available to the public. According to the creator this game was written entirely in assembly language on original Amiga hardware during the mid-90s. Thankfully after all this time this now lost game has been recovered having been successfully salvaged through modern emulation techniques.

Super Combat 3 is a local multiplayer combat game that pits two players against each other in arenas where survival depends on more than just quick reflexes. While the primary goal is to defeat your opponent, the game introduces several strategic objectives: Hostage Rescue: Find captives scattered across the levels and escort them back to your base for a 2-point bonus per rescue. Be warned: your opponent can kill you and "steal" the hostages you are currently escorting. And finally, Base Destruction: Specific levels feature enemy HQs. To take them down, you must successfully plant a Time Bomb inside the building, earning a 5-point bonus.
