Cosmic Ark - A VIC-20 conversion of the Atari classic Cosmic Ark by Micke

Another vintage Atari game has made an appearance on the Commodore VIC-20, as looking through our emails earlier today, I've been told by Liqmatrix that Micke has released Cosmic Ark, a high-fidelity conversion from the Atari 2600 over to the Commodore VIC-20. A new release which faithfully recreates the frantic species-saving gameplay of the 1980's Imagic original. To experience this technical feat on original hardware, users will need a VIC-20 equipped with an 8k memory expansion. The increased RAM is essential to handle the conversion's graphics and smooth performance.

According to the website your aim is to rescue alien species to your ark, using a shuttle to beam them onboard. Survive the asteroid fields between the planets. Pull the joystick in the direction of the incoming asteroids to zap them. The VIC-20 needs an 8k memory expansion to run the game. This game requires the VICE emulator OR an actual VIC-20 home computer with 8 k memory expansion.
