Ghostbusters Revisited - A new take on that classic Ghostbusters game is coming to the C64

For gamers of a certain age, few things trigger a rush of pure nostalgia quite like the opening of the classic Ghostbusters theme song. Released during the golden era of 8-bit computing across legendary machines like the Amstrad, Commodore 64, and the ZX Spectrum, the original movie tie-in game remains an absolute touchstone of retro history. Now, one homebrew developer is preparing to grab your attention, with the upcoming game called 'Ghostbusters Revisited'. An in-dev C64 title whereby you have to traverse many different rooms as a Ghostbuster while firing proton streams to pull them into a trap through a first person viewpoint.

Amstrad CPC 464 & Green Screen

Many years ago when I was just a wee youngster, almost a toddler in fact! I had my very first computer and that computer was the Amstrad CPC 464, with a very bright green screen monitor. A computer that would probably scare off small children nowadays, especially with it's clunky tape cassette player and low resolution screen, but during that era it was the best thing ever, at least for me! It was 1984 and I think I had just turned 5 yet unbeknownst to me, I would have a computer that would start me down the line to where I am today, on computers!
