Gyruss - Exciting news as JOTD has released another Arcade to Amiga port!

JOTD has certainly earned a positive reputation in the Amiga scene, as he is one of the few developers willing to go the extra mile, to convert/port over some pretty fine Arcade to Amiga titles. Moon Patrol, Donkey Kong, Super Bagman, Galaxian500 and Super Xevious are just some of the ones as the highlight on this website. Well it doesn't look anything is going to stop this powerhouse of a developer from creating Arcade to Amiga conversions any time soon. As he has just announced the release of Konami's brilliant shooter of 'GYRUSS' over to the Amiga!

Gyruss - Konami's fixed arcade shooter gets an enhanced cartridge port for the MSX

Something for everyone this week as we now turn our attention towards the MSX with GDX's port of the 1980's Konami fixed arcade shooter ' Gyruss ', which is available for purchase as an enhanced cartridge by Eric Boez. This game was first seen in the Arcades and was later distributed as conversion kits, with Parker Brothers releasing contemporary ports for the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 8-bit family, Colecovision, and Commodore 64. In fact, it's the Colecovision which this MSX port is actually based on and is enhanced by the embedded SN76489, so original sounds and music are preserved.
