Lost Neo Geo Prototype found - A Kick ass arcade fighter teased!

Hot off the press and given the heads up by our good friends Retrotaku, is a rather eye opening Neo Geo prototype that has been found, and teased to a rather shocked community. Revealed by NeoTurfMasta at Midwest Gaming Classic 2016, this looks to be a rather interesting fighting game, similar to those seen at the Arcades, that featured a number of characters each with different fighting moves. According to the details in the video there is no information on the name of the game or the company that was developing it. This is a game that was never even listed on any SNK catalogs ever and was thought to be developed by Technos for various reasons, but at this time there is no proof of this.

Demon Child Zenki Battle Raiden - SNES platformer is now fully translated!

We have just been given the heads up by our friends Retrotaku, that you can now download and play the fully translated English release of the SNES game ' Demon Child Zenki - Battle Raiden '. Originally a very early Manga from the 90's that then became a SNES action platformer, you play as Zenki a powerful demon, revived from along sleep by the re-appearance of evil. Sadly you have been turned into a human with his powers kept under control and only chiaki having the power to change him back. As is the case with Anime/Manga based games it's probably best you read the full story as even this game went almost right over my head!

Kraut Buster - Metal Slug inspired shooter coming to Neo-Geo

I said to myself today it's time to give the retro homebrew a break and focus more on the Indie, but when retrotaku gave us the (exclusive) heads up of a Metal Slug inspired shooter coming to Neo-Geo we just had to see for ourselves. Well here it is, 'Kraut Buster' a comical action Run'n'Gun shooting game made for the 16 bit system NEO·GEO and developed by NGD Team with a release date of Winter 2015!
