This year so far has been very good for the Amstrad CPC, as we've seen a number of games that have been released such as Galactic Tomb, Pink Pills, Robbie Strikes Back, The Dawn of Kernel and even the incredible dungeon crawler 'The Shadows Of Sergoth'. But the Amstrad is about to get another boost in the homebrew department, as this month in relation to the #CPCRetroDev 2018 - Amstrad CPC Game Creation Contest. TOD Studios have announced through twitter a very nice looking game called ' Legend of Steel '.

Still at a work in progress state with a yet to be announced release date, Legend of Steel is currently being developed using CPCtelera and looks to be a top down action slasher with high grade Amstrad graphics of multiple themed rooms and different enemy types. As for the gameplay, you look to play as a betrayer of a Shaman to battle strange creatures and collect mighty treasures in the many dungeons found in the game....Deep in the caverns, Skeletons and Slimers have their own kingdom. They form a great brotherhood working together till they see you fall exhausted.
