Power Drive 2000 - Trippy 80's racer gets a demo and game play trailer

You may or may not have noticed our big article on the recent Megacom Games announcement of the Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight campaign for 'Power Drive 2000'. But the developers have not only released an early alpha demo for you to try but they have also released a gameplay trailer! To coincide with this news, the Steam Greenlight campaign was a great success but the Kickstarter still needs some ways to go in funding and only has 9 days left!

In Power Drive 2000 you drive a technologically advanced sports car and through trial and error over incredible tracks with tight corners must learn the ways of drifting and boosting. Charge the "Turbo" meter and boost to gain some wicked speed to become the number 1. Set in a futuristic 2000 but developed in a 1980's cinematic sci-fi style, 'Power Drive 2000' is a space aged time warp into an era of psychedelic colours with a totally radical Synthwave soundtrack!

Currently the Kickstarter is at $16,583 pledged of a $45,000 goal, so the developers need a real big push in funding to make this a success. Hopefully the released demo, even if it is in an early stage is a indicator of what the final game may will be like.
