Caren and the Tangled Tentacles - C64 adventure appears at Gamescom!

After the previous announcement for Oliver Lindau's work in progress C64 adventure title of 'Lindwendture', which then became 'Caren and the Tangled Tentacles'. Has now appeared as an early preview at gamescom, playable at the Return magazine booth - hall 10.2 in the retro gaming area. With a team working on the game such as Martin Wendt and Kamil Wolnikowski, this is an adventure set in a Lucas arts style design that is also available to view through the latest teased footage released today.

According to Oliver Lindau, this footage shows multi-room gameplay of Caren & the Tangled Tentacles (working title Lindwendture) with first time Kamil's music and sound fx which are both implemented. Although the game was due for release by the end of July and that has now passed, it looks as if we may have a little bit longer to wait. Still, as long as it gets all the time it needs, we could be looking at a top quality adventure that the C64 deserves!

Update : For those of you who asked about an English version, this was the response from the developer,  "it is possible to switch between German and English at any time". So that answers that, both English and German will be available in the final version.
