Pinkerton Road Studio and Phoenix Online Studios have announced that Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers 20th Anniversary Edition, which was made available for both PC and Mac with very positive reviews, is now available for iPad and Android users. First released in 1993 as a highly regarded point and click adventure game by Sierra and the first in the series. You can now play the enhanced 20th Anniversary Edition with gorgeous 3D graphics, new puzzles, new scenes, a remastered soundtrack and much more all in the palm of your hands.
If any of you are concerned that the Mobile editions will be a step down from the PC or MAC release, don't be. As they've assured us it contains all of the same features available in the completely updated PC release, including:
- Gorgeous high-res 3D backgrounds and models with more New Orleans flavor
- The classic Gabriel Knight soundtrack, remastered and reorchestrated by original composer Robert Holmes
- New playable scenes and puzzles
- A tiered in-game hint system
