I never thought I'd see the day that an Amsoft game, more especially Harrier Attack, would be coming to the PC. It is one of the best games I have ever played on the Amstrad CPC 464 and to see it being remade for modern systems by Adolfito fills me with retro joy. Originally Harrier Attack was released in 1984 and the concept of the game was to fly a British Harrier Jet across the landscape on bombing runs destroying both enemy buildings and aircraft.
But this game came with a challenge, not only did you have to avoid enemy flack but you also had to keep an eye on your Rockets, Bombs and more importantly Fuel, before returning to the Carrier. As for this latest version remake, there is no sound, same difficulty on all levels, enemy planes and boats can shoot at you, collision detection and a full screen mode with Amstrad font. This of course will all be sorted when the game is finally released just not sure when!
In regards to sound effects that will be coming in an updated version due soon.
