Developed by Stephen Nichol and released for the ZX Spectrum last month, Cap'n Rescue 2 : The Escape is a nice little homebrew platformer that's free to download and play. In this game you once again play as Cap'n Goode, although you are back in your human body you are still trapped in Mortyna's Lair and must find a way to escape.
Through the many levels you must get past patrolling enemies, collect treasure and power ups and try to reach your crew. But be careful as one touch of a bad guy, or a large fall and your character will die and lose a life. Thankfully if you collect the limited amount of lasers they may aid you in your escape and if used well, may prove useful later in the game. Thus if you have a ZX or an Emulator and want to play this enjoyable release, download the game below.
