Saboteur - Classic C64 action adventure gets an Atari 8bit port.

More top quality news today and this one found by our good friend retrotaku is the work in progress Atari 8bit port of ' Saboteur ' from the C64 by mariuszw. Yes indeed, the action-adventure game created by Clive Townsend and published by Durell Software in 1985 for several 8-bit systems, the same publishers behind Thanatos, is getting the Atari 8bit treatment and as of today, even at such an early stage is downloadable and playable!

This could well be one of the highlights of the Atari 8bit scene when it's actually finished, as Saboteur is one of the greatest games I've ever played, even if I did actually play it on the Amstrad CPC 464 in green! In this game you play as a Ninja, tasked with getting into a warehouse to steal a disk which has the names of rebel leaders on it. You must make your way through many different rooms, attacking enemies or avoiding them while also being careful not to fall. If you can do that, find the disk and escape you've won the game, but keep an eye on your energy and time, or it's game over!
