DOOM PIT - Exclusive physical release has been announced for the speccy
Ah Clive Townsend what a very talented developer he is, creator of the brilliant Saboteur! series of which many of us love still to this day. Sadly there was one game in his line up he never released and that was Death Pit; a game advertised a lot by Durell, completed, but was never considered good enough for release even though some of the routines did end up in that game Saboteur. Still even though the development version was found in 2007, we at least have ' Doom Pit ' to look forward to. A brand new game recently announced as an exclusive physical edition to the official sequel for Clive Townsend's previously unreleased Death Pit, bundled together in a great package by Monument Microgames!
Saboteur 1 & 2 - HOT NEWS as Clive Townsend's classic game series is heading to the Nintendo Switch!
As if the news from GamesinBits regarding the upcoming Saboteur 3 couldn't get any better, as just moments ago we have been told not only is Saboteur coming to the Nintendo Switch, but so is the sequel Saboteur 2 and of course the recently announced Saboteur 3. Both the first and second game in the series were some of the best action adventure games I have ever played growing up on an 8bit system, and designed by Townsend and released by Durell Software in the late 80's

Saboteur spawns sci-fi comedy ebook: The Kempston Interface
It’s an age-old question: where can I find retrogaming inspired fiction featuring a sentient ZX81 and a hi-vis ninja? Well, thankfully, a Sinclair reviewer of this parish Steve Trower, has provided the answer: in The Ambivalence Chronicles - a Sci-Fi Comedy in 8 Bits.
Saboteur Online - Play the original classic online remade by Clive Townsend!
Somebody hold me as I'm in complete shock, as Clive Townsend, the original developer behind that hit game ' Saboteur ' which was published by Durell Software in 1984 for many 8-bit systems, has created an enhanced ZX Spectrum version of the hit classic, with an extended map, gameplay, graphics, and plot that already adds to an incredible game, but all completely playable online!
Saboteur - Classic C64 action adventure gets an Atari 8bit port.
More top quality news today and this one found by our good friend retrotaku is the work in progress Atari 8bit port of ' Saboteur ' from the C64 by mariuszw. Yes indeed, the action-adventure game created by Clive Townsend and published by Durell Software in 1985 for several 8-bit systems, the same publishers behind Thanatos, is getting the Atari 8bit treatment and as of today, even at such an early stage is downloadable and playable!
