One of the most eagerly awaited games that we have featured so far in that retro style, just has to be Suminell Studios upcoming Shoot em up ' Z-Exemplar ', which is still aiming for a Steam Greenlight success. In development for Android, iOS, PC and Mac, it has the look of an R-Type, Gradius and Nemesis clone while combining bright, bold, 8-bit pixel ZX Spectrum detail but with frantic action and an epic mission to conquer a galaxy of almost 1000 planets. To coincide with this news, the developers have not only released an early alpha demo, but also a kick ass trailer!
If you call yourself an R-Type fan, or spent many days blasting ships in Gradius, then give this game the Steam Greenlight thumbs up it deserves.
