Badlands - Post-apocalyptic Amiga arcade racer playable on PC

It's going to be a gamesnostalgia day today as a number of Amiga games have been packed up and made easily runnable on a PC via FS-UAE. The first game is none other than the spiritual successor to Super Sprint ' Badlands ', which was a post-apocalyptic themed arcade racing game giving you the opportunity to blast away the competition using both cannon and missile. With each race won you'll be able to spend money on cool upgrades such as turbo's and increase speed before the themed track changes and you've got to do it all again.

This game was one of the highlights of my gaming youth, I do remember playing it many times in the Arcades thanks to the developer Atari Games before it was ported over to other systems such as the one here the Amiga. There was something satisfying about racing around a rugged fallout style Earth attacking other vehicles just to get in first place. But that's not all this game had to make you smile as it had a really cool intro theme and of course being a multiplayer was great with friends.

So head on over to Gamesnostalgia and give it a play!
