Only just last month Eduardolicious with music by 0xabad1dea, released the updated old school retro dungeon crawler ' Wizardish ' for the Pico-8, with a browser based version also available. It was developed as a Wizardry game in his own style using 80's graphics that gave you the feeling of walking through tight tunnels while battling strange beasts, and collecting loot all with up to four selectable characters. Well just recently that same game has had a v2.0 major update!
Already featuring eight 16x16 dungeons and plenty of grid based battling to be had, the developer has now added an automapping system, one of the most highly requested additions of any dungeon crawler, allowing you to see where you've been and where you've yet to go. Also other changes have been made such as palette swaps, feedback improvements and rebalanced gameplay because of the drop in challenges with the added automap. All sounds so much better, so if you're bored today with not much to do, come and play Wizardish, the retro inspired dungeon crawler on the Pico-8.
