Possibly the last Steam Greenlight news update for today and one I think all of you might be interested in, is Locomalito's (Abylight Studios) epic looking Shoot em up ' Super Hydorah ' is now aiming for a Steam Greenlight success. From the same creator behind Maldita Castilla, Hydorah, l'Abbaye des Morts and the NES inspired platformer ' The Curse of Issyos ' comes a retro inspired game with all the features and in your face wave blasting action, that any R-Type or Gradius gamer will want to experience.
Super Hydorah is a nonlinear horizontal shoot’ em up designed to offer a challenging and memorable experience, sublimating the wisdom and richness of traditional shmup classics. The game has direct action, nostalgic art and a wide variety of unique spatial content and situations. Also to whet your appetite, the game features 21 levels divided into 35 sublevels, 35 bosses, 100+ enemies, 3 game modes including single and co-op, a non linear level layout, super precise ship control, many dangers to be avoided or destroyed, weapon selection, power ups and even a wicked CRT monitor effect!
So if you love retro inspired games, and more especially Shoot em ups, you owe it to yourself to make Super Hydorah a Steam Greenlight success.
