Not much going on in the homebrew scene so far today, so now we are going to look towards Eclipsing Binary's latest in development horror game ' The Abomination ', which is available for the PC and with a playable demo. In this game you play as a sword wielding hero who is out for revenge after an evil Alchemist of the tower has created a simulacrum of life from the remains of the dead and destroyed the local village, burning all in its path. You must assault the Alchemist's tower and make him pay for what he has done!
The Abomination might not be the most eye candy of retro inspired games we've seen for awhile, nor is it a particularly long game as it's still in development, but The Abomination looks a ton of fun to play, features lots of enemies to battle, traps to avoid and has one of the coolest chiptune soundtracks I've heard for some time. So if you want to experience this " love letter to the 80's ", check out the demo and also have your Gamepad handy as it's Gamepad compatible!
